Annual Back To School Fair - August 6, 2011


It is the vision of the Kaufman Christian Help Center to enrich the lives of Kaufman County residents through empowerment, encouragement and education. The Center is a not-for-profit organization that collaborates with area churches and other groups to advocate for the wellness and self-sufficiency of the citizens of Kaufman and the surrounding communities. 

 The Center programs shall include public social service activities that strive to:

*  Provide an area-wide information and referral system to reduce duplication of services, assess social service needs and resources, and enhance communication between those in need and available resourses.

*  Provide specific programs to address the observed need.

*  Promote public awareness of those needs.

*  To obey the call of Christ to help those in need, and to do so in His name.



Location :
We are located at 400 Terrell Highway, Kaufman, TX                                          (Corner of Hwy 34 and Dellis Street, 3 blocks from the 243/34 Split) .  

Hours:
Monday through Thursday 9am to 3pm                                                            Interfaith Harvest Food Pantry hours are Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 11:45am And 1pm to 2:45pm and Wednesday afternoons 1pm to 2:45.                                  

  • Morning Pantry hours are reserved for Senior adults and individuals with disabilities.                                                           
  • Tuesday and Thursday afternoon hours are open to families and individuals under 60.   
  • Wednesday afternoons are reserved for first-time pantry participants.
