Angel Food Ministries is a non-profit, non-denominational organization dedicated to providing grocery relief and financial support to communities throughout the United States. The program began in 1994 with 34 families in Monroe, Georgia (between Atlanta and Athens), and has grown to serve hundreds of thousands of families every month across 35 states. Angel Food Ministries crosses denominational lines and has spread the good news of the gospel of Christ through salvation tracts that are placed in each food order.
How the Program works: Food sales and distribution are handled by the Kaufman Christian Help Center. Orders and payments are collected by the Center during the first part of each month. These orders are then turned in to the Angel Food main office in Monroe, Georgia, on a predetermined date. Several days later, in the same month, the Center staff picks up the food from an Angel Food Distribution Site and delivers it to Grace Fellowship Church of Oak Grove where it is then picked up by the customer.
Who Qualifies? Absolutely everyone! There are no criteria. Everyone pays $30 for each regular order. There are also several specials to choose from each month.
How Do I Order? Orders may be placed at the Center during regular office hours before the posted deadline each month. We accept cash, money orders, food stamps, debit and credit cards. You can also place your order online by following this link: ORDER ONLINE
